Each year, the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) hosts a conference in the United States for energy efficiency and sustainability professionals around the world to network and share best practices. This year, the AEE World Energy Conference and Expo was held at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. The conference brought together energy and sustainability professionals from over 60 countries and all 50 U.S. states to discuss innovative approaches to energy efficiency, corporate sustainability and cost reduction.

Brent Baker, Vice President and Chief Customer and Innovation Officer at NES, engaged in a panel discussion alongside Metro Nashville, Middle Tennessee Electric and General Mills representatives about decarbonization and cost savings. The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) was a silver sponsor of the AEE conference and Michael McCall, TVA’s Chief Sustainability Officer, facilitated the panel discussion.

Panelists explored how organizations can significantly reduce carbon emissions while achieving financial benefits. Attendees gained insights and actionable solutions from industry leaders and energy experts on how to enhance both environmental and economic performance.
